Our Story
Čajovna Praha was born from a simple belief: that the ritual of tea can transform ordinary moments into something meaningful. We opened our doors in 2015 with a mission to share the depth and beauty of tea culture with Prague.
Where Tradition Meets Intention
Our founder, after years of travelling through tea-growing regions in China, Taiwan, and Japan, returned to Prague with crates of rare teas and a vision. She wanted to create a space where the hurried pace of modern life could pause—a room where time moves at the speed of steeping leaves.
What began as a small corner in Malá Strana has grown into a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Yet our approach remains unchanged: quality over quantity, presence over speed, connection over transaction.
